Quiz on Plurals

Welcome to Mice In The Classroom! This blog offers examples of curriculum for students K-12 who use English as a second language (ESL) and English as a first language (EFL). Lessons are primarily prepared for Intermediate Level learners and are used as part of one-on-one tutoring and small group sessions. The quiz below is only one example of reading exercises and comprehension questions for both ESL/EFL students. Quiz on Plurals

Note: Words are changed to the plural form when there is more
than one of the same thing.

Look at the following words in their singular form then draw a
circle around the correct plural form.

Example: boat - boates - boats - boat

1. child - childs - child’s - children
2. half - halfs - halves - either one
3. potato - potatoes - potatos - either one
4. fish - fish - fishes - either one
5. goose - geeses - geese - gooses
6. aircraft - aircrafts - aircraft - either one
7. church - church - churches - churchs
8. fly - fly - flies - either one
9. sheep - sheep - sheeps - sheep’s
10. box - boxes - box - boxen
11. mouse - mouses - mouse - mice
12. house - houses - home - either one
13. sleeve - sleeve - sleeves - either one
14. shelf - shelfs - shelves - either one
15. holiday - holidays - holidayes - either ones
